Simple and Powerful

Hibernatus’ core is a powerful and entirely flexible automation engine. A network administrator can thus create at will all kinds of tasks to be carried out without being limited by preset functionalities. The use of Hibernatus® is simple and intuitive due to the encapsulation of the tasks to be carried out in the form of scenarios. A scenario, even complex, can be created in a few minutes. It is made up of: various types of events able to activate it, suspensive conditions, aimed targets and actions to be carried out.

Possible actions on PCs

Hibernatus® offers 12 different types of actions like for example switching PCs to standby or hibernation mode, locking or closing user sessions, shutting down, rebooting and even reactivating PCs (through the Wake-on-LAN function) as well as several combinations of all of the above.

Selection of the computers

There are several ways of selecting the computers to be controlled: through Active Directory, by automatic collection, by file import.

Security (optional)

To prevent any malevolent attempt on the network, all the actions carried out are protected via SSL protocol. Thus, the Hibernatus® agent installed on a targeted PC will only carry out a requested action if the request comes expressly from the Hibernatus® supervisor. The Wake-on-LAN function is also secured to avoid any attempt of illicit action.

Note : activating a targeted PC’s wake-up function requires that it has a “wake-on-LAN” capability
